2001 : Chef of the Bosphorous Restaurant, in Palermo Soho
2002 – 2005 : Professor at the Institute of Gastronomy of Buenos Aires.
From 2004 : Chef of the restaurant at the Hilton, Buenos Aires.

First steps in cooking

Emiliano Sabino started his career as a chef by working in a restaurant
whilst travelling. If he doesn’t say where or when, the
young Argentinean chef lets us know that he learnt at gastronomy’s
grass roots as he went along… before taking on the first job
of his life – heart in mouth. “Ingredients, technique and memory”
are the keywords of his career and his creations.

Training for the “Bocuse d’Or”

It was in mounting the podium at the Copa Azteca (The Aztec Cup) – organised
from the 28th – 30th September 2006 in Mexico – that Emiliano Sabino gained
his ticket to the “Bocuse d’Or”.
Since then, the very first Argentinean candidate in the contest has been preparing
himself for the contest in Lyon. Eight hours per day, in the secret of the
kitchens of the Gastronomic Institute in Buenos Aires, he meets up with his assistant
to go over his recipes again and again.

Outside the kitchen

When he leaves the stove, Emiliano Sabino likes to spend time with his family
and friends.
He also likes reading, mainly novels and books on history.

Dante Pipoli lives his life at double speed these days, because he knows that in preparing for, and taking
part in the “Bocuse d’Or”, he is learning a lot. Proud to be in Lyon, he’s already dreaming of coming back
in a few years, to represent his country as their candidate.
